Details worth knowing

Acer Aspire 15 AS15-42: Zen 3 AMD Ryzen 3 7330U & 15.6-Inch FHD IPS Display

The Acer Aspire 15 AS15-42 is a well-rounded 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS laptop engineered for university students, remote professionals, and home offices in Bangladesh. Unlike entry-level Ryzen 7020U processors based on older Zen 2 cores, the Aspire 15 AS15-42 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 3 7330U built on AMD's higher-IPC Zen 3 architecture—delivering 4 physical cores and 8 threads with boost clocks up to 4.30 GHz, a 10 MB cache, and integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. Its 15.6-inch 60Hz IPS LED-backlit ComfyView display offers wide viewing angles and reduced glare inside a sleek Pure Silver chassis measuring 357.5 × 229.5 × 18.9 mm and weighing 1.79 kg.

512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, Gigabit LAN & 54Wh Battery

Paired with 8 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz RAM and a fast 512 GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD (upgradeable up to 1 TB), the AS15-42 handles large spreadsheets, multi-tab research, and code compilation smoothly. A full-size keyboard with an integrated numeric keypad sits above a responsive multi-gesture touchpad, while a 720p HD webcam, dual-array noise-cancelling microphones, and two 2W built-in stereo speakers support clear video calls. Physical connectivity is comprehensive—including 1 × USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, 1 × USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, 2 × USB 2.0 Type-A ports, 1 × HDMI port, a dedicated RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack alongside Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2. Its 3-cell 54 Wh Lithium-Ion battery provides stronger unplugged capacity than typical 41 Wh budget laptops and recharges via a 65 W AC adapter.
