LG 22MK430H-B: Full HD IPS monitor for everyday work and entertainment
LG 22MK430H-B is a 21.5-inch (54.6 cm) Full HD monitor with an IPS panel, 16:9 screen and slim-bezel design. Its 1920 × 1080 resolution gives office documents, online lessons, browsing and video a clear workspace, while wide viewing angles help the picture stay consistent when viewed from different positions.
Picture quality and motion
The LG specification sheet lists 250 cd/m² typical brightness (200 cd/m² minimum), 1000:1 typical contrast, 72% NTSC colour gamut, 16.7 million colours and 178° horizontal/vertical viewing angles. The anti-glare, 3H surface helps reduce reflections in ordinary indoor lighting. Response time is 5 ms GTG in the Faster setting. Maximum refresh is 75 Hz; the input signal, cable and computer must support the selected resolution and refresh rate.
AMD FreeSync synchronizes compatible AMD graphics output with the display to reduce tearing in supported games. It is an adaptive-sync feature, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or a replacement for a capable graphics card. The sheet also lists Dynamic Action Sync, Black Stabilizer, Crosshair, Response Time Control and Super Resolution+; these are optional picture/game tools and their usefulness depends on the source content and settings.
Connections
The LG US specification sheet lists one HDMI 1.4 port, DisplayPort, one D-Sub (VGA) input and a headphone output. Bangladesh retailer specifications commonly list HDMI, VGA and headphone output but omit DisplayPort. Confirm the actual port panel and regional variant with the seller before relying on DisplayPort. The included signal cables and package contents can also vary by market. There are no built-in speakers; use headphones or separate speakers connected to a suitable audio source. HDCP 1.4 is listed.
Comfort and on-screen controls
Reader Mode adjusts the display for reading, and Flicker Safe is listed by LG. These tools may make particular viewing setups more comfortable, but they do not eliminate eye strain; take breaks and set brightness for the room. Other listed controls include colour temperature and RGB adjustment, gamma, picture modes (Custom, Reader, Color Weakness, Photo, Cinema and Game), OnScreen Control software, DDC/CI, OSD Lock and Smart Energy Saving.
Stand, mounting and dimensions
The supplied stand supports tilt from −5° to +20° and detaches for a separately purchased 75 × 75 mm VESA-compatible mount. The LG sheet gives approximate dimensions of 20.1 × 15.6 × 7.2 inches with stand and 20.1 × 12.03 × 1.5 inches without stand (W × H × D); stand weight is about 6.2 lb and panel-only weight about 5.5 lb. Shipping carton is listed as 25.2 × 14.4 × 4.9 inches and 8.4 lb. Packaging may vary by market.
Power and compatibility
The specification sheet lists an external adapter, 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz input and 19 V / 1.3 A output. Typical power is listed as 25 W under EPA conditions and 29 W in factory-out condition; sleep and DC-off are under 0.3 W maximum. Use the supplied compatible adapter and check the rating label on the actual regional unit.
Who is it for?
This model suits a home or office desk for documents, study, web browsing and casual gaming where Full HD, IPS viewing and flexible HDMI/VGA connectivity are useful. The 21.5-inch screen is compact; consider a larger or higher-resolution model for extensive multitasking, fine design work or a wider viewing area. A 75 Hz maximum is a modest step above standard 60 Hz operation, not a high-refresh competitive gaming display.
Warranty and purchase checks
LG Bangladesh's warranty table lists three years for monitors in the 22-inch-and-above class, while the manufacturer sheet for another region lists a one-year limited warranty. Confirm the exact Bangladesh-authorized model, serial number, invoice and warranty-card terms with the seller before purchase; coverage can depend on authorized distribution. Market prices and package contents change over time.
