Nokia 108 DS (2024) Dual SIM Feature Phone with 2-inch Display and 1000mAh Battery

Nokia 108 DS (2024) dual-SIM feature phone

The Nokia 108 DS is a compact keypad phone for people who want straightforward calling, SMS and a small set of built-in entertainment and utility features. HMD, the maker of Nokia-branded phones, presents the Nokia 108 (2024) as a feature phone with a 2.0-inch display, tactile keypad, removable 1000mAh battery, dual flashlight, FM radio, MP3 player, Snake game and space for up to 2,000 contacts. Star Tech lists the Bangladesh-market Nokia 108 DS as a 2G handset with Micro USB charging, a 3.5mm audio jack, IP52 dust resistance and microSDHC expansion up to 32GB. The latter regional details come from a retailer listing, while HMD's official product page is the source for the core 2024 model features. It is a basic feature phone, not an Android smartphone: do not expect a modern app store, 4G mobile broadband, Wi-Fi or GPS. Check the specific box, SIM tray, card support and order warranty with BiponiBD before buying.

Simple screen and physical keypad

HMD specifies a 2.0-inch display and a tactile keypad. The small screen keeps the handset compact for pockets and bags and suits dialing, reading short messages, navigating contacts and using simple menus. The physical buttons provide a familiar input method without a large touchscreen. HMD describes the 2-inch screen as larger than that on earlier models, but does not publish panel technology or pixel resolution on the product page reviewed here. Star Tech also lists the display as 2 inches. Since the available official overview does not state resolution, this guide does not guess it. If you need large text, detailed photos or comfortable web browsing, compare a smartphone with a larger display instead.

Dual SIM and 2G calling

The product title and Bangladesh seller listing identify this as the dual-SIM Nokia 108 DS. Star Tech categorizes the model as a 2G feature phone. HMD's overview page does not show the SIM tray format or publish supported GSM bands in its customer-facing summary, so confirm the exact SIM size and local band compatibility from the handset packaging or seller. A 2G-only listing means this model should not be chosen for 4G data, VoLTE or app-based connectivity. Network availability, signal quality and call performance depend on the operator and the area where the phone is used. If you plan to rely on it as a primary calling device, first confirm that your carrier continues to support the relevant 2G service locally.

Removable 1000mAh battery

HMD confirms a removable 1000mAh battery and advertises up to 18 days of standby time under its own laboratory test conditions. That is a manufacturer test ceiling rather than a guaranteed everyday result. Real standby and talk time vary with network coverage, call duration, SIM activity, signal strength, battery age and use of the flashlight, radio or music player. The removable design can make battery replacement more practical than a sealed-phone design, but the compatible replacement part and service terms should be confirmed before purchase. Star Tech also lists a 1000mAh battery for the exact DS listing. Neither source provides a universally applicable talk-time promise for every network and usage pattern.

Micro USB charging and audio connections

Star Tech specifies a Micro USB charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack on the local Nokia 108 DS page. Micro USB is the older connector standard, so check that you have a compatible cable and charger; the connector detail does not confirm whether a charger is included in the BiponiBD box. HMD says a microSD card is needed for the MP3-player feature, and the retailer lists microSDHC cards up to 32GB. Treat the card limit as retailer-reported and verify the supported card format, capacity and included accessories for the exact delivered unit. The 3.5mm jack can connect wired headphones or a compatible headset; Bluetooth support is not confirmed by the official page reviewed for this copy.

FM radio, MP3 playback and Snake

HMD names FM radio, MP3 playback and Snake among the phone's built-in features. A microSD card is required for MP3 playback according to the manufacturer's note, and the card is sold separately on the HMD page. Star Tech lists a 3.5mm audio jack and loudspeaker, which are useful for wired listening and speaker playback. The available sources do not confirm whether the FM radio works without a headset in every regional firmware configuration, so check the delivered set if wireless FM is essential. This entertainment set is deliberately simple: it does not replace a smartphone streaming service, high-capacity music player or modern gaming device.

Dual flashlight and practical daily tools

HMD confirms a dual flashlight, voice recorder, contact storage for up to 2,000 entries, FM radio and Snake. Star Tech's exact-model listing additionally advertises automatic call recording and IP52 dust resistance. The automatic recording and IP52 claims are retailer-listed details rather than facts shown on the HMD overview page. Recording availability can depend on local software, settings and applicable law; users should follow local consent rules. IP52 is not a waterproof rating, so do not submerge or expose the phone to heavy water. The flashlight is a handy low-light aid, but it is not a substitute for a dedicated emergency light.

Colors and regional listing differences

HMD's product page describes Charcoal, Purple and Blue color options, while Star Tech's local DS listing names Black and Blue. Retail color names can vary by market or retailer, and this catalog record has one Default variant rather than separate color options. Confirm the exact color in stock with BiponiBD before ordering. We have not changed the product's variant structure based only on the broader manufacturer's color family, and the existing product image URL is preserved. The image's original rights and source provenance remain subject to separate verification.

Who should consider the Nokia 108 DS?

This model may suit a buyer seeking a basic keypad phone for calls, SMS, a separate backup line, a simple handset for travel or a device with a removable battery and flashlight. The dual-SIM identity can be useful if you need two lines, subject to the actual tray and regional variant. The compact 2-inch display, physical keypad, FM, MP3 and Snake keep the interface focused on basic tasks. It is not suitable for someone who needs modern messaging apps, social networks, high-speed mobile data, navigation, Wi-Fi, a smartphone camera experience or a large touchscreen. Compare current local network support and the exact unit before deciding.

What to confirm before checkout

Before placing an order, ask BiponiBD to confirm that the available unit is Nokia 108 DS (2024), the exact SIM configuration, the included charger or cable, microSD compatibility and maximum capacity, the color, box contents, current BiponiBD price and written order-specific warranty coverage. Star Tech Product Code 46940 is not the manufacturer's MPN, so this page does not present it as one. Star Tech's retail price and warranty apply to its own offer and should not be read as BiponiBD terms. No independent market-price range or authenticity promise is made here. Availability and carrier support can change, so confirm both with the seller and network operator.
