OnePlus 15R

OnePlus 15R at a glance

The OnePlus 15R is a large-screen performance smartphone launched with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus lists a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, adaptive refresh rates up to 165Hz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra memory and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage on its US specification page. The exact configuration, color, regional model code and warranty of the item represented by this BiponiBD record have not been independently verified. Treat the family specifications below as manufacturer-published reference information, and confirm the unit label and invoice before relying on a region-specific feature.

Display and touch

The official specification lists a 17.35cm (6.83-inch diagonal) flat AMOLED panel with 2800 × 1272 pixels, FHD+ classification, approximately 450 ppi, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, 10-bit color, 100% DCI-P3 typical coverage and support for 1.07 billion colors. The adaptive refresh options are 60, 90, 120, 144 and 165Hz. OnePlus notes that 144Hz and 165Hz operation is supported only in listed applications, so the top rate is not guaranteed in every app or game. High Brightness Mode is specified up to 1800 nits; actual brightness depends on screen area, ambient light, temperature and mode. The cover glass is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Processor, memory and storage

The phone uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, with an Oryon CPU and Adreno 829 graphics listed in regional technical material. OnePlus lists 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra physical RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage configurations. Some markets can offer different memory tiers, and virtual RAM uses storage rather than adding physical memory. Available storage is lower after Android and preinstalled software. The catalog variant is a generic “Default” entry and does not identify which storage configuration is supplied; check the box, device settings and invoice. A microSD card slot is not listed. Do not confuse the 15R with the China-only Ace 6T, OnePlus 15, or OnePlus 13R; these are related but distinct devices with different platform and feature details.

Rear cameras and video

The rear system has a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with a six-element lens, f/1.8 aperture, 24mm-equivalent focal length, 84-degree field of view, autofocus and optical image stabilization, plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a five-element lens, f/2.2 aperture, 16mm-equivalent focal length and 112-degree field of view. OnePlus lists a rear LED flash. Its video table includes 4K at 30/60/120fps, 1080p at 30/60/120fps, 4K slow motion at 120fps, 1080p slow motion at 120/240fps, and additional modes; stabilization and resolutions depend on the selected mode. The table does not support the catalog’s 8K recording claim. Processing features include cinematic, panorama, night, long exposure, dual-view, time-lapse, high-resolution and Pro modes; availability can vary by software.

Front camera

OnePlus specifies a 32MP front camera with a five-element lens, 25mm-equivalent focal length, f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. Front video is listed up to 4K at 30fps, with 1080p and 720p at 30fps, plus supported stabilization/time-lapse modes as detailed in the regional camera table. Resolution alone does not guarantee portrait quality; lighting, motion and software processing affect results.

Battery and charging

The manufacturer lists a 7400mAh (27.98Wh) typical battery and 7250mAh (27.41Wh) rated capacity. Charging speed is region and power-adapter dependent: the US specification lists 55W SUPERVOOC, while India/global configurations advertise up to 80W with a compatible adapter. The phone’s compatible maximum and the adapter included in a particular country’s box are not the same promise. Wireless charging is not listed in the reviewed specifications. The catalog does not establish the seller unit’s region or included charger. Charging time and battery life vary with temperature, network, display settings, software, charger and use. A high refresh rate or intensive gaming can also change energy use, so battery capacity alone cannot guarantee a fixed number of hours.

Build, colors and handling

The US specification gives dimensions of 163.41 × 77.04 × 8.30mm, with weight of 214g for Charcoal Black and 215g for Mint Breeze. Regional material also lists an Electric Violet edition in India; back material and mass can differ with color/market. The seller-unit color is not encoded in the catalog’s default variant. The 6.83-inch display and 7400mAh battery make this a substantial device, so one-hand reach and pocket feel are personal considerations. OnePlus uses a programmable Plus Key on this model in place of the familiar Alert Slider. Case and screen-protector fit can vary by model; confirm the exact color and package contents with the seller.

Durability and water exposure

Regional OnePlus materials do not all publish the same durability information. The reviewed US specifications page omits an IP rating, while the India-specific source cited in the Antigravity audit lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for that regional model. This does not establish the rating of the unit in this catalog, whose CPH code is unknown. We therefore do not label this seller unit waterproof or promise any IP rating. Keep it away from liquids unless its exact box label and regional manufacturer documentation confirm the rating. Any ingress rating reflects controlled test conditions, may decline with age, wear or repair, and may not cover liquid damage under warranty. No MIL-STD certification is claimed.

OxygenOS, connectivity and support

The operating system is OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16; “ColorOS 16” is not the software name for an official global/India OnePlus 15R and has been corrected. ColorOS can appear on a distinct China-market sibling or a cross-flashed device, so the box model and update channel matter. Official global/US materials list Wi-Fi 7/6/5, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS and other satellite positioning, an infrared remote control and a suite of sensors. eSIM availability is regional: Antigravity’s official-page comparison records it for CPH2769/CPH2771 and not CPH2767 India. OnePlus update-policy material supports four major Android upgrades and six years of security updates; the UK security page lists a 31 December 2031 end date. Rollout timing still varies. Radio bands and carrier compatibility must be checked against the actual model.

Long-term use, setup and care

Set up the phone using the model code printed on the box and compare it with the device’s About device screen. Install system updates over a stable connection, review app permissions, and use the built-in battery and display controls to balance endurance with high-refresh gaming. A 165Hz-capable panel does not mean every app renders at 165 frames per second: the app, graphics workload, temperature and system policy all matter. Camera modes such as 4K120 can create large files and may have shorter recording limits or thermal restrictions; use suitable storage space and check regional software menus. For charging, use a OnePlus-approved compatible adapter and cable for the unit’s market, and check the package list instead of assuming that an advertised maximum charger is included.

What to verify before purchase

The catalog’s SKU is a seller identifier, and its value 47250 is not verified as a OnePlus manufacturer part number. The exact CPH model code, region, storage capacity, color, included adapter, SIM/eSIM implementation, network bands, warranty provider and warranty eligibility remain unconfirmed for this item. Request a clear box-label photo, model code, exact RAM/storage, written warranty provider and duration, invoice and package list. Check the device IMEI and regional support eligibility at delivery. No claim of “official warranty”, sealed authenticity or particular accessory is made without unit-level evidence.
