The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 (model AC-M16-SC) is engineered for living rooms and master bedrooms in urban environments like Dhaka and Chattogram, delivering up to 6,660 liters of purified air per minute with a Particle CADR of 400m³/h and a Formaldehyde CADR of 150m³/h. Using 360-degree all-around air intake grilles, it purifies a 20m² room in approximately 10 minutes and provides an effective coverage area of 28–48m². A high-precision laser particle sensor monitors indoor air quality in real time, displaying exact PM2.5 concentration alongside indoor temperature, humidity, Wi-Fi status, and a four-color air quality indicator bar on the front OLED touch display.
Inside the lower chamber sits Xiaomi's cylindrical 3-in-1 filter (22,000cm² expanded surface area) combining a primary mesh, Xiaomi's High Efficiency Filter media (electrostatic + mechanical filtration), and 500,000mg of high-quality activated carbon. Certified by TÜV Rheinland for Allergy Care, the filter captures 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3μm—including PM2.5 smog, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and smoke—while absorbing kitchen odors, pet smells, and VOCs. In addition, a built-in negative air ionizer releases negative ions to keep indoor air feeling crisp and forest-fresh, and the filter lasts 6 to 12 months between replacements.
In Night Mode, noise drops to a whisper-quiet 32.1dB(A) (63dB(A) maximum) with the OLED screen illumination turned off for undisturbed sleep, while rated power consumption is just 30W (requiring ~0.8kWh for 24 hours of operation).
